David F. Johnson, Esq.
Senior Counsel
David Johnson is a graduate of Regent Law School, a former active duty Army judge advocate, paratrooper, and combat veteran. He was a litigator, the Military Practice Group Director, and a real estate attorney at private law firms before joining Anchor Legal.
After graduating from high school David enlisted in the Marine Corps. His enlistment was cut short due to an injury, so David travelled 75 miles down the road to the College of Charleston where he earned his B.A. in Communication.
As a civilian David had multiple careers, working in athletics, entertainment, fitness, and even teaching special education in middle school and high school classrooms.
Eventually David returned to the military and served in the Army. During his Army career he served in many areas, including Operational Law, Prosecution, Defense, and advisor to commanders as high as a four star General.
David is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Tennessee, is admitted to all state courts in those jurisdictions, as well as, federal court in the Eastern and Western districts of Virginia.
