Macayla grew up in Tidewater, Virginia and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from Liberty University, specializing in Public Relations and Advertising. Prior to law school she had worked as a technical writer, sales manager in the contracting industry, customer service in the financial services industry and managed a medical practice and started her various own small businesses. This sensational appetite to learn and navigate new areas in business has given her knowledge and experience in human resources, insurance, sales, marketing, financial structuring, building a corporation’s assets, cash flow, and overall bottom line.

Attorney Macayla Nicolaison helps organizations, entrepreneurs, and business owners with structuring, navigating and protecting their vision and their assets.

Through her work experiences, Macayla realized that her passion is to be a “dot-connector,” to come alongside organizations, entrepreneurs and business owners and assist them with structuring, navigating and protecting their vision. Macayla felt a clear call to law school to help fulfill that purpose. She received her law degree from Regent University School of Law. Macayla enjoys the everyday opportunity to continue to help clients create high value businesses while protecting and preserving all the hard work of individual business owners with estate planning. She represents non-profit organizations and churches, advising them on corporate law and how to protect their religious freedom rights.

Macayla has served as an adjunct faculty member with Regent University’s Graduate School of Communications, teaching Media Law and Ethics; Foundations of Law; Professional and Office Management; and Wills, Trusts and Probate for the Professional and Continuing Education Paralegal Studies Program at Regent University. She volunteers to guest speak to various university programs. She is happily married to her husband, Luke with four children, Anika, Axel, Piper and Liv.
