Julian Bouchard

Julian Bouchard, Esq. is a dedicated trial attorney with over 13 years of experience advocating for clients in both state and federal courts. Julian is a strategic and assertive litigator with a passion for protecting the rights of his clients in and out of the courtroom.
Julian’s focus of practice includes the following areas of law: personal injury and criminal defense. He represents clients in a wide range of criminal matters, from traffic violations to complex homicides. He also handles cases involving motor vehicle accidents and complex civil litigation.
Before joining Anchor Legal Group, PLLC, Julian prosecuted felony criminal cases as a former Portsmouth Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney. He was also a partner at Bush & Taylor, P.C. in Suffolk, litigating cases in 16 jurisdictions throughout the Tidewater area in Federal Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
A Suffolk native, Julian is a Regent University School of Law and the University of Virginia graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He has strong ties with the community and is active in local nonprofits.
Julian enjoys acting and directing theater productions with the Smithfield Little Theatre in Isle of Wight in his free time. He is also instrumental in presenting theatrical reenactments of actual court cases at the Isle of Wight Courthouse in the 1700s for the non-profit, Historic Smithfield. The productions are performed annually at the historic 1750 Isle of Wight Courthouse.
